What role will you play in the team

Our partner is looking for a UX Designer to join the Design Team to deliver superior experiences to users.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for delighting users through the design of interactions, workflows, and interfaces that are based on insights discovered through research. The UX Designer will be expected to complete a project from research all the way to design.

  • Perform stakeholder interviews to understand business goals and determine research questions
  • Create research plans and perform user research via techniques such as user interviews, contextual observations, card sorts, surveys, and participatory workshops
  • Synthesize observations and findings, present and defend research findings in reviews with both internal teams and customers
  • Work closely with teams of UX professionals and developers to design and deliver applications for desktop, web, and native mobile (iOS and Android)
  • Design site maps, wireframes, prototypes, visual comps, and design specifications based on user research findings
  • Plan and execute usability testing studies to evaluate existing application designs
  • Perform periodic consultations and heuristic evaluations to support organizational design transformation activities
Requirements
  • College degree in IT or relevant field and strong IT background
  • 1+ years of experience as User Experience Designer / Product Designer
  • Passion for delighting users and designing incredible experiences
  • Strengths in listening, observation and attention to detail
  • Mindset of experimentation and iteration (fail fast, fail small)
  • Experience in designing desktop, web or mobile applications
  • Skilled at working with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Experience working with iterative design and development practices
  • Ability to share knowledge and help others raise the bar through teaching and mentoring
  • Flexibility to work on projects that are constantly changing and shifting
  • English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
