The Senior Test Engineer will play a key role in a key product, to plan, develop, and implement automated testing activities for internally developed applications and websites. As part of a highly collaborative Agile development team, the Senior Test Engineer will take carry out hands-on automation testing responsibilities, as well as leading and coaching other members of the product team. In partnership with management, the Senior Test Engineer will also help to identify and explore the newest technologies and processes, and use these to further improve and embed automation testing practices across the business.

Core Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation engineer to help build and improve a global BI platform built primarily on the Microsoft stack in Azure. You will use your analysis, design and coding skills to create, maintain and enhance testing capabilities both on DB and front-end side. There will also be an element of data analysis and documentation of test cases to support the ongoing developments. Ultimately, you will help develop our partner’s automated testing capability to ensure quicker code deployment in multiple elements of BI platform.

• BAU Test Development support – create, troubleshoot and fix automated tests and any subsequent issues within our partner’s BI solution or other products.
• Data Quality Support – propose and implement test mechanisms to prove and improve client data quality. Work with the visualization team to make the outputs effective for clients and the support teams.
• Client Project Services – carry out technology project related activities to include such items as requirements capture, test automation specification, test script design and change management.
• Coach and Architect – work with the wider platform team and GOS team to improve knowledge of testing, and influence design and build solutions to best address test needs from the outset.
