Job description

We are looking for an experienced P2P Team Leader for our prestigious multinational partner.

The Team Leader is focusing on the management and support of a team of AP Accountants, working on end-to-end PTP processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the team in order to enhance staff performance and staff satisfaction
  • Steers a team of accounting staff in order to achieve set operational Targets, by coaching/motivating/communicating on day-to-day tasks
  • Ensures that proper internal control procedures are followed (GAAP)
  • Proposes staff planning, supports the staff recruitment
  • Determines training requirements, follows up the plan, conducts process-related training
  • Monitors staff production, productivity, and quality of staff’s actions
  • Monitors closing activities
  • Timely administrative handling of accounting, and follow up on escalated issues
  • Provides regular reports on accounting issues and maintains contact with internal and external parties
  • College or university degree in economics with preferably focus on accounting
  • 3-5 years relevant experience as a team leader / coordinator / supervisor
  • Throughout knowledge of accounting processes
  • Proven people management skills
  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Applications, ERP Accounting systems (preferably SAP)
  • Fluent English in writing and verbally
  • An other European language is an advantage
