Job description

We would like to offer you a Software integration & test engineer position for our partner with a background in the automotive industry. They manufacture and develop self-starting motors, alternators and e-components for electric and hybrid vehicles. They are TIER 1 suppliers to US and European manufacturers.

Tasks:

  • Integration:

○ Shape software development for the electric drives of the future, taking into account current development trends and future customer and product requirements.

○ You are responsible for integration of software components in AUTOSAR 4.x architecture.

○ A high level of interaction with software architects and developers characterizes your activities.

○ You coordinate the configuration management and create the RTE according to the software architecture.

○ The analysis os resource consumption is also part of your tasks (runtime ram etc.)

○ You will perform your work in accordance with the process specifications according to ASPICE, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.

○ In the field of software development in the area of electromobility, we offer you a wide range of long term opportunities for personal and professional development.

  • Test:

○ Design the test strategy and execution for the electric drives of the future, taking into account current development trends and future customer and product requirements.

○ Derive the appropriate tests and test levels, coordinate this within the project and be responsible for the creation of test specifications and execution (right side from development v).

○ Execution of test activities according to aspice processes for functional system testing (system environment) are part of your tasks as well as reporting to the software project management.

○ Close coordination with software development and requirements engineers round off the activities.

Requirements

Skillset

  • General:

○ Degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, computer science, communications engineering, physics or embedded systems.

○ Several years of experience in software development & testing of mechatronic products as well as in AUTOSAR configuration.

○ You look back on several years of practical experience in the processing of customer projects and software series implementation inel, the execution os ASPICE assessments.

○ You have a broad knowledge of test and development tools such as eclipse, CANoe, CANAnalyser, CANDiva and the Vector DaVinci toolchain.

○ Very good knowledge of english both written and spoken.

  • Integration:

○ Very good knowledge of microcontrollers, drivers and sensors, communication protocols and bootloaders.

○ Broad automotive system knowledge (ECU, sensors, software) as well as practical experience in fault management and diagnostic concepts (UDS).

  • Test:

○ Good knowledge of all test levels (software to system test) manual and automated tests as well as experience in dSpace products (automation desk, control desk).

○ ISTQB Foundation level/test manager.
