Our partner is building a brand new Software Engineering Team at their Budapest office. It will be a flexible work option.

Core Responsibilities:

  • SW Engineer will develop and debug features, fix customer found bugs, and construct validation tests for multimedia MCU and Streaming Server.
  • Engineer for Media and Network server-side development and maintenance Develops features and fixes bugs in C/C++ and implements unit tests.
  • Automate and expand validation tests where possible
  • Measure benchmarks and optimize performance of media processing / networking.
  • Resolve interworking and compatibility with other servers in the solution and 3’rd party endpoints
  • Solid C/C++ programming and debugging skills is required
  • C/C++, PHP
  • SQL
  • Linux, bash, rpm, openssl
  • VMWare ESXi

Desired Experience:

  • Good Experience with Linux plus some Windows development
  • Network coding experience with UDP, TCP, RTP
  • Linux experience with real time methods e.g.: Shared Memory, IPC, Semaphores, Critical sections, Pthreads
  • Some Familiarity / experience with video conferencing signaling and media standards including SIP, MPEG, H.264/AVC, G711, G722, OPUS, FEC
  • Worked with such tools / stacks as: FFMPEG, GStreamer, MediaSDK, WebRTC
  • Encryption standards – SRTP, SHA, SSL/TLS
  • Java SE, Maven, Tomcat
  • C#, PowerShell
