Job description

Our partner is key player in the personal loan market in Hungary for 19 years now.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Test Analyst, who would be interested in testing and communicating with other groups and developers at the same time.

  • Undertaking the complete test cycle of software development from requirements testing to user acceptance testing;
  • validating business requirements and functional specifications to assess their testable elements and impact on target and related systems;
  • designing and developing test scenarios and test cases to be validated with business and IT cooperation, based on source documentation and enquiry;
  • assessing test data and test environment requirements and communicating these with the Test Environment Manager to help ensure the setup of the correct testing context;
  • executing tests and reporting on test progress and product quality using the test tools at your disposal, keeping the project informed of project and product related issues, risks and dependencies, with the aim of ensuring timely delivery;
  • focusing on constructive and risk-based testing approaches to support the delivery of a quality solution that meets business requirements, keeping in mind the concept of a minimum viable product;
  • creating effective defect reports based on agreed standards;
  • be willing to develop knowledge in Automation Testing with and aim to be able to execute test scripts as part of a regression;
  • recommending improvement plans for addressing process gaps and better ways of working.
Requirements

Degree or equivalent level of qualification, preferably in an IT-related discipline;

  • hold an Internationally recognised Software Testing certification;
  • speak fluent English and Hungarian with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • hold a strong knowledge of testing principles, practices, techniques and tools;
  • proficient in creating, maintaining and executing manual test scripts across a number of different functionality stacks including front and back end systems;
  • proficient in determining required levels of test coverage and has worked in a risk-based environment;
  • proficient in test execution, the defect management lifecycle and test reporting;
  • strong knowledge of testing both mobile and web-based applications;
  • experience in agile development techniques and Project management (SCRUM, KANBAN etc.);
  • experienced in the testing of multiple changes in a complex environment, ideally operating in an international environment;
  • strong interpersonal skills.
