Job description

Our partner redefines the way of digital communications which helps building the future of work and customer experience. They open a new R&D center here in Budapest with approximately 50 people (Java, C++, C# and Python developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, etc.). They are looking for full-time employees in Budapest or for remote work.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

To help us build and configure functional systems that improve user experience we are now looking for an experienced Contact Center System Management Senior Software Design Engineer. The individual will be responsible for designing, coding, and development testing of capabilities that permit our solutions to meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in administration server software engineering and are familiar with software design, we’d love to speak with you.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop management services for public and private cloud solutions

Evaluate cutting edge cloud technologies and frameworks, with a drive towards adoption by creating proof-of-concepts

Participate in design, coding, reviews, testing, documentation, deployment, and support; be a hands-on scrum team member

Collaborate to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to build scalable and performant distributed applications

Requirements

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

6+ yrs of experience Java. Experience in working on Enterprise grade products
Demonstrable experience with microservices design and implementation and Cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Demonstrable experience with event driven and API-first application development
Experience with REST web services design and implementation is beneficial

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Programming skills in Java
Programming skills in web-based browser administration screens
Strong development and debugging skills
Deep knowledge of computer science fundamentals
Astute, willing to share and collaborate, always ready to learn
Exhibit flexibility and an ability to think creatively in a way that identifies solutions to problems

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Can be fully remote. Still, you are more than welcome to come to the office (Budapest district VI.) occasionally (~1 a month).

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

6+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or related field
