Job description

Our client is a multinational engineering company whose business center is in Budapest, they would like to extend their accounting team in Budapest - this means we are searching for an English speaking Senior Financial Accountant who is ready to level up in his/her career.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation tasks and investigating/correcting discrepancies
  • Completing manual booking and approve journal bookings and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process and allocate payments
  • Prepare cash flow reports on a weekly basis
  • Manage intercompany netting and process settlement booking
  • Tracking and reporting of metrics on the overall financial accounting process
  • Support the junior collagues
Requirements

What makes you the best candidate:

  • Experience in accounting in a multinational work environment (SSC) which means 3-5 years of experience with general ledger accounting
  • Very good understanding of accounting processes
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Finance and accounting degree
