Our prestigious Partner with an information technology background wants to expand its financial team with a Cost Specialist colleague.

The future colleague will manage the cost reporting and controlling processes with respect to the assigned entities.

You will meet a complex and diverse role with the following tasks:

• Perform detailed cost variance analysis - deep understanding of figures, identify and analyze key business drivers and provide explanations (cost drivers behind periodic variance, plan/ outlook-actual cost deviation analysis, include fixed & variable expenses)- supplies, parts, supply chain teams
• Financial planning with Finance and Operations teams, sense check and validate the bottom up results to the top down expectation
• Present the key figures and drivers to steak-holders
• Identify risks and opportunities and drive open items
• Ensures ERP system is correctly maintained
• Perform ad hoc business analysis, and analyze trends to support the growth of the business
• Harmonization, automation, and simplification of processes
• Create and maintain proper documentation of the area of resposobility
