Job description

We are looking for a Rollout Manager, which position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the projects to rollout the Global Data Platform (GDP) to internal customers out of the platform team
  • Gather, validate and prioritize client needs and own and maintain the project plan
  • Support customers in using the platform, according to best practices
  • Create a project plan, understand the timeline and the deliverables of the projects
  • Identify dependencies towards GDP (Global Data Platform) internal feature development and steer the customization of the platform
  • Contribute to data platform projects as representative and single point of contact from the GDP
  • Be the “gatekeeper” for requests coming from the project, and push back unnecessary requests
  • Act as “voice of the project” internally in the GDP organization towards the development teams and towards the Product Owners
Requirements
  • Master or Bachelor in technical or management areas
  • Experience as rollout manager / project manager in a data-driven projects (data platform, data lake, data governance etc.)
  • Data Engineering Pattern (Ingestion, Transformation, Storage, Consumption etc.)
  • Requirements of running modern data solutions in production at scale
  • Data Governance Frameworks (e.g. Informatica)
  • Event Based systems (e.g. Kafka)
  • Knowledge Graph (e.g. Stardog)
  • Distributed systems (e.g. Spark)
  • Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4J)
  • Workflow orchestration and automation (e.g. Luigi)
  • Linux & Containerization
  • Cloud Solutions & Services (e.g. Azure, AWS)
  • Requirements engineering (preferable in data engineering / big data projects)
  • Critical thinking generated by observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, and communication.
  • High customer orientation, especially in the context of digital product design processes
  • Experience with common agile working tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Git)
  • DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it; taking responsibility for your work)
  • Team player open to work in an agile environment
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, other languages (e.g. German, French, Italian, etc.) are a plus
