Job description

Our partner is seeking an experienced manual tester to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing manual test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure the quality of software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute manual test cases for software products
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design a test coverage plan.
  • Execute business cycle test cases against requirements.
  • Accurately report and track testing related defects and issues, by writing effective and thorough bug reports, and bug fix verification
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
  • Work closely with product owners and project managers to ensure software quality standards are met
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
  • Maintain testing documentation and test artifacts
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a manual tester
  • Must be able to work with Test management tools : JIRA and HP QC/ALM
  • Experience with Source Control Technologies (GIT).
  • Ability to write SQL queries is a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile
  • Experience creating and executing manual test plans and cases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think critically
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
