Key Responsibilities

• Daily operation, monitoring of Linux servers, immediate intervention in case of incidents, troubleshooting
• Designing and dimensioning Linux configurations with particular regard to functionality, performance requirements, availability, redundancy and IT security
• Professional installation and configuration of Linux configurations, change management
• Monitoring systems, tracking system log entries detecting malfunctions, determining trends, and (if possible) proactively managing
• Contributing to the adjustment and fine-tuning of monitoring and log processing systems
• Ensuring parallel maintenance of production, test and disaster backup systems
• Preparation, periodic inspection and maintenance of operational documentation
• Observance of the operating procedures of the data centers, keeping the order of inventory on / off
