On behalf of our multinational partner in the manufacturing sector we are seeking for a Lead Accountant, who has at least 5 years of accounting-related work experience (SSC background is an advantage!), speaks English confidently and last but not least skilled in IFRS.

The main duties in a nutshell:

  • Lead and control the main tasks within the month, quarter and year-end closings
  • Create accounting statements based on IFRS rules in line with Group policy
  • Provide checkpoint and approval for items above the threshold
  • First point of contact for the EMEA Accounting Manager in case of IFRS & closing for the locations
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Configure and operate the IFRS center of excellence
  • Act as a knowledge hub for IFRS related queries within Haldex EMEA
  • Support the accrual and deferral creation process, create provisions and release them
  • Provide timely, appropriate financial data

Requirements
  • College or university degree in Accounting
  • Min. 5 years of relevant full-time work experience
  • Fluent English in oral and written
  • IFRS experience is a must-have
  • SSC background would be a cherry on top
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of the group, regional and local expectations
