Job description

Our partner is a global leader in engineering. With operations worldwide they employ more than 50,000 employees.

Their Support Center in Budapest provides finance, logistics and other business services for European countries.

They are looking for an Internal Audit Lead to monitor and measure the organization's resources, policies, procedures and their compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and monitoring of internal control framework, including group policies and key risks
  • Formulate policies and procedures to improve internal controls, compliance, and efficiency
  • Lead the process for internal controls reviews
  • Deliver adequate and timely action plans and monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies
  • Participate in standardization and automation, apply and implement best practices for managing internal controls and deploy innovative technology
  • Engage with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings
  • Develop and conduct adequate training and prepare related information material on the internal control objectives to business partners
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience from a similar position in a multinational group
  • Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks
  • BachelorĀ“s degree in business administration, Finance or Accounting & relevant professional certification
  • Strong analytical skills includes the ability to spot, assess and address risk, materiality and interdependencies and translate it into impact analysis for the financial reporting and recommendations for improvement
  • Fluency in English
