Our market-leading, international Partner who is operating in the real estate sector is looking for a GL&Accounting Team Leader. It is an outstanding opportunity where the main scope of the role is financial reporting, providing correct financial records and quality cashflow plans for the clients, also lead a team of 7 professionals.
The following tasks awaiting for the new colleague:
- Checking and approving reports delivered to clients
- Maintaining/creating/approving monthly deliverables files
- Coordinating month-end closing activities (journal preparation and reporting)
- Ensuring the client accounting activities are delivered to the clients on time with the appropriate quality
- Daily identification of quality issues and risks and escalation of such issues
- Establishing and maintaining professional and effective working relationships with external and internal clients, colleagues, and management
- Making and handling regular client calls
- Supervising critical balance management
- Preparing monthly/quarterly SLA & KPI reports (multiple clients & departments)
- Onboarding of new team members, managing knowledge transfer, and on the job training
- Managing the team members directly reporting to the employee
- Accountable for maintaining and developing their direct reports' competence, motivation, and engagement level
- Making suggestions to the line manager on recruitment, discharge, premium, promotion matters
- Driving process implementation, documentation, and improvement
- Supervising internal and external audits
