On behalf of our multinational partner in the manufacturing sector we are seeking for a Fxed asset expert, who has at least 3 years of fixed asset accounting experience and nterested in inventory accounting.

The main duties in a nutshell:

  • Perform fixed asset process management and bookkeeping activities
  • Perform month, quarter, and year-end closing activities related to fixed asset process
  • Oversee and manage the costs involving the company's fixed asset operations
  • Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system
  • Activation and reactivation of fixed assets
  • Perform asset, property valuation activities and the scrap bookkeeping process
  • Calculate and run depreciation for all fixed assets
  • Perform and document fixed asset transfer and sale
  • Develop inventory analysis reports and analyze variances (e.g., stock, and fair value reconciliation)
  • Ensure and review the completeness and accuracy of inventory
  • Maintain inventory movement table and cost adjustments
  • Support the periodic physical counts of stocks & fixed assets (annual inventory of stocks, fixed assets)
  • Provide timely, appropriate financial data, supporting documentation to internal and external auditing
  • Support the key Accounting related projects (e.g., Axiom, Finance Transformation)
  • Support continuous improvement projects
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of fixed asset accounting experience
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or another business-related field
  • Well advanced in accounting (accounting fundamentals and standards, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), Local Accounting Standards, management accounting
  • Interest in inventory accounting is an advantage
  • Audit experience or Audit support experience is an advantage
  • General IFRS knowledge preferred
