The main tasks include the following:

• Preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including related integrity checks and analysis
• Coordinating the close-the-book process including related ledger system jobs and liaison with different departments
• Accounting activity including processing journals and accounting for more complex scenarios (cost allocations, inventory accounting, tax accounting, pension accounting)
• Centre of Excellence for account reconciliations including providing guidance, stewarding performance and reporting statistics
• Preparing reports for US Tax reporting and US Government reporting requirements
