Job description

Our partner is an international law firm and are looking for a new colleague for the following tasks:

  • processing supplier invoices (general office expenses, disbursements)
  • preparing bank transfers(including supplier invoices, expense reports, payroll, tax payments, payment of court and other official fees, conversion between bank accounts)
  • booking bank transactions (cash receipts, payments)
  • booking journal entries for management reporting (accruals, prepayments, etc.)
  • GL account reconciliation
  • support month-end and year-end accounting close
  • laising with 3rd party accounting services provider for the local accounting requirements, tax filing and statutory accounts preparation
  • weekly cash receipt report and cash forecast preparation
  • degree in finance or accounting or chartered accounting qualification
  • 1-3 years accounting experience
  • relevant knowledge of Hungarian accounting and VAT rules
  • intermediate level of English (it will be used mostly in writing but there will be an interview with colleagues abroad)
