Job description
  • Define, implement and maintain the IT architecture target picture to accelerate future strategy and opportunities
  • Operationalize the IT architecture
  • Design solutions for diverse Business Intelligence and Reporting platforms(on public and private cloud) like SAS EBI, MicroStrategy ,Informatica, Precisely, ESRI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
  • Integrate/troubleshoot platforms with standard services like storage, back up ,access management, scheduling, event streaming and maintain the running services
  • Engineer components in Python/C, Linux OS and infrastructure as code frameworks.
  • Support technical upgrade of Business Intelligence platforms based on new releases, security.
  • Provide best practice how to use the systems to other users of the services
Requirements
  • A bachelor or master level degree in computer science, mathematics, business informatics or in another technical field of study or strong IT related education background.
  • 10 years of hands on IT Engineering/ development experience.
  • Expertise in Architecting/Engineering in the areas of Multitenancy, workload management on shared platform,orchestration, automation in both on premise and cloud environments, Python, C and Linux and network configuration and platform as a service, Infrastructure as code.
  • Solid knowledge of web application frameworks and authentication mechanisms - Kerberos, SAML, Azure Active Directory, PAM.
  • Desired requirements: affinity with and interest in Business Intelligence, Analytics and IT(especially platforms like SAS Business Intelligence) in general. Hands on with technologies and system integration.
  • Team player mentality, collaborative engagement (also in distributed, virtual teams).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with end users (strong customer orientation).
  • Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information
  • Role model character with talent to drive new ideas and take new perspectives to challenge existing solutions
