Job description

Our partner combines state-of-the-art Fog computing, Big Data technologies and Machine Learning to help their customers realize the Smart Factory transition and create a digital twin of their production plants.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Redesign of central data storage
  • Implementation of a data collection system
  • Sensor data collection / storage
  • Migrate data from other databases to the central database
  • Build a unified report and dashboard
Requirements
  • Strong SQL knowledge and working experience writing ETL processes and RDBMS development
  • Deep knowledge of data modelling , data structures and algorithms
  • Working experience with application design, coding and testing
  • Working experience with Big-Data and data streaming ecosystems (like HDFS, Spark, Kafka etc.)
  • Working experience with NoSQL databases (like TICK stack, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.)
  • Working experience with Unix/Linux environments,
  • Version Control Systems and CI/CD processes Working experience with Docker
  • Working experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
  • Significant experience with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, Scala)
  • Ability to balance between new implementations and existing support activities
  • Strong in Debugging and Troubleshooting abilities
  • Good English skills (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

  • Working experience with BI tools and visualization (like Power BI, Tableau )
  • Machine Learning experience
