Job description

We are looking for a Data & Business Analyst, who is interested in joining scrum team for the global reporting tool. Your tasks will include:

o Support the development of new functionalities for the pipeline from a data driven perspective (including improving data quality functions, harmonization of data over multiple nationalities and calculating out of it new KPIs for the Dashboard usage)

o Support new customers in onboarding process to the system

o Align on new KPIs and Dashboards with the business customers from a technical and data driven perspective

o Maintain and improve existing Global Reporting functionalities

o Understand and explain advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solutions to internal and external stakeholders

o Participate in Scrum ceremonies e.g. daily standup, Sprint review

o Resolve incidents and change requests

o Write technical documentation and apply best practices

Requirements
  • Analysis or modelling experience on commercial projects ideally on cloud platforms using a variety of methodologies and approaches
  • Must have hands on experience in both SQL and Non SQL modelling
  • Capability of result oriented communication with people from different departments with different skill sets
  • Experience with data focused projects including multiple different countries is a plus
  • Experience with Data Engineering Patterns (Ingestion, Transformation, Storage, Consumption etc.)
  • Experience with Data Governance and Quality concepts and tools
  • Experience with Data Virtualization concepts and tools (e.g. Tibco)
  • Hands-on experience with PowerBI implementation is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (especially Azure Data Factory)
  • Good understanding of RDBMS Systems like PostgreSQL
  • Good understanding of big data concepts in the cloud like data lakes and data warehouses
  • General understanding of Infrastructure, Orchestration and IT Security Principles (especially on an enterprise level)
  • Bachelor (BSc), Master (MSc) or equivalent experience in a technical field (for example, Computer Science, Engineering...)
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools
  • Team player open to work in an agile environment
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, other languages (e.g. German, French, Italian, etc.) are a plus
