Job description

Primary purpose of the job:

As part of the Global Business Intelligence (BI) team, the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting all data analytics and governance in support of both service lines and clients. The responsibilities include data mapping, data assessments and analysis, data governance support, user acceptance testing, reporting support, workplace trend analysis, benchmarking analysis, and general product support for the Company’s BI platform, Triana.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute user acceptance testing of feature enhancements in both new releases and net new dashboards.
  • Collect enterprise data and manage the SOP for updating and loading data (market rents, shape files etc)
  • Run Triana product workflows when applicable including images, ERV loading and Alteryx scoring workflows
  • Lead data mapping exercises to support system integration projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the automation and standardization of data requirements.
  • Technical documentation and process documentation as required for activities within the data workstream
  • Support custom reporting requests
  • Contribute within BI Analyst Super User community in order to bring in best practices and innovation from other parts of the organization.
  • Provide both verbal and written updates to management on the progress of work.
  • Partner with technology to support the ongoing operation of the Company’s BI platform.

Regular tasks:

  • Support the Head of BI and Data Strategy to build, implement, and support the BI platform and global data strategy initiatives.
  • Lead data assessment exercises with new account teams and clients while onboarding onto the BI platform.
  • Support the Regional BI leads with reporting/ data quality requests and trouble shoot Triana bugs and issues
  • Support sales and Triana lite with data ingestion
Requirements

Qualifications required for filling the position:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Great attention to detail, diligent and focused.
  • Committed, able to work to deadlines, prioritise and juggle between tasks.
  • Business writing and reporting skills
  • Thoughtful, collaborative, and proactive ready to engage with stakeholders across the globe
  • Understanding of Agile Development
  • Experience in documenting business processes in the form of process maps and step-by-step user manuals.
  • Ability to build & maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to deliver.
  • Good team player, also able to work independently.
  • Curiosity and drive to solve problems

Foreign language skills required for filling the position:

  • Good communication in English

Qualifications (education) required for filling the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate or Technology
