Our highly prestigious multinational partner with a power management background wants to expand its international team with a Statutory Associate colleague.
They are looking for someone who has a solid understanding of accounting, ideally in a multinational environment having a regional focus, because the new colleague will be focusing on various countries within EMEA.

You will be involved in the following various tasks:
- Keep reporting deadlines accurately for monthly, quarterly, year-end closings
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results supporting the Actuals, Forecasting, -Profit Plan, Strategic Plan
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, USGAAP, local statutory regulations
- Ensure SOD and controls for Bank, update bank guarantee and insurances
- Coordinate and act as a consultant, advice and technical assistance to all supported Stakeholders
- Support the implementation to all divisions of uniformity of financial accounting systems;
- Ensure that modifications in systems and procedures due to changes in legal, fiscal requirements are coordinated
- Manage and improve financial controls and processes while mitigating issues
- Ensure that the statutory books are kept in accordance with local accounting rules, managing the reconciliation between US GAAP books and statutory books.
- Managing the Fixed Asset and performing reconciliation about additions, and GL accounts
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual statistical reports for entities subject to reporting requirements
- Support intercompany recharges for the EMEA region
- Prepare financial statements in line with local GAAP, ensuring completeness of all the necessary parts for the final review by the auditor/controller
- Conducting reconciliation between taxable income or loss and the net income or loss resulting from the statutory books
- Support external and internal tax audits including Tax Inspections
