Job description

Our international partner has a significant role in the insurance sector all over the world and they are currently expanding their regional Data Center operation team in Budapest.

  • Support infrastructure change and service requests within the CEE and other regions based on Customer requests
  • Support international network transformation projects
  • Operational and administrative duties on the field of Data Center Networking – routing / switching / firewalling / load-balancer/reverse-proxy
  • Performs regularly scheduled 24/7 standby duties within the network team
  • Support IT security on the field of networking
  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience in the Telecoms / IT Industry, in the same position, in multinational environment
  • High level communication skills with advanced English
  • Proactive approach is expected
  • Deal with problems independently
  • Collaboratively work with other engineers in the team to identify and resolve design, implementation and operational issues and incidents
  • Industrial certifications in appropriate topics (Cisco CCNP accredited)
  • Experience in network automation and scripting solutions (Perl / Python / Ansible)


  • Additional experience in data center networking and security technologies (Cisco / Juniper / Citrix NetScaler / CheckPoint / network virtualization)
  • Experience in international IT projects
  • Experience in administering and developing open-source network monitoring systems (SNMP / NAGIOS / CACTI)
  • Experience in VMware network virtualization technologies (NSX)
