Job description

Position Summary:

The jobholder ensures the timely and accurate execution of IT related processes to meet customer requirements by leading certification and auditing processes of IT nodes to ensure the most optimal capacity, service, and capabilities for our customers while maximizing the financial performance of the Employer.

In addition, this position will work on activities supporting other special projects including: project management, collaborative action items, follow-up audits and initiatives, continuous improvement initiatives, and certification for (new) processes.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • To support and initiate IT related processes to insure compliance to quality and process requirements and overall control of the day to day operation of the IT processes
  • Implement and develop metrics system, executes operating plan and improve KPIs
  • Takes responsibility for stable and secure performance of IT infrastructure by constant supervision of the servers and other network components
  • Takes responsibility for data internal and external security; assures data security on local network drives, implements security enhancements proactively
  • Takes responsibility for data backup according to corporate standards
  • Manages and maintains IT assets (printers, data collector, software, hardware etc.)
  • Supports the company’s core businesses with IT solutions
  • Develops and implement the applications that supports the operation of the site
  • Prepares CER, ER and recommends budget targets
  • To support auditing and measurement process for all suppliers to ensure we have a network capable of meeting customer and strategic operational objectives while also ensuring optimal competitive value for the Employer
  • Keeps and ensures the fulfilment of the work / accident prevention (EH&S) and quality insurance rules / requirements
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned – and trained
Requirements

Experience/Qualifications/Personal characteristics:

  • College graduation in IT field
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in an international manufacturing environment
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Microsoft Windows: Windows Server operating system, Windows client operating system, Microsoft Office (with Access) is required
  • VMware virtualization
  • Network: LAN, WAN, switching, routing, basic network troubleshooting
  • Programing languages: Fundamental understanding of scripting languages: e.g. PowerShell, Python (to automate repetitive tasks)
  • Good organizational skills, able to work under pressure, staying calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks and able to work unsupervised
  • Work well independently but must be a team player and a willingness to collaborate with the team
  • Accurate & well organized personality
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
