Our prestigious client employs over 200 staff in a youthfully, modern, dynamic, multinational environment. We are looking for a charismatic personality with accounting background and prior team management experience.

In your new role you will be working with the General Ledger team reporting directly to the General Ledger Director. You will be responsible for making sure that all operational and legal reporting is completed on time and accurately. It will also be your responsibility to complete regular performance reviews and maintain development & training plans for each member of the Team.

As a GENERAL LEDGER TEAM LEADER you will be responsible for the followings:

  • Manage the General Accounting activities
  • Supervise, coach, mentor a team of 5 Accountants
  • To manage and coordinate the team in general ledger and reporting activities
  • Assist with financial analysis and produce daily/weekly/monthly narrative reports as required and directed
  • Understand SLA requirements and drive team to consistently achieve and surpass expectations
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions to Group Accounts
  • Review journal entries, monthly account analyses and reconciliations, balance sheet accuont roll forwards and analyses
  • Active participation in finance and accounting related projects
  • Support General Ledger period end Close Process and activities
  • Prepare for audit/fiscal control
  • Work with external auditors
  • Act as process innovator in order to standardize and harmonize procedures


  • Degree in accounting/finance
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in general / RTR / GL accounting gained in shared service sector
  • Proven track record of team management (performance review, development plans, timesheet, coaching and mentoring)
  • Fluent Business English
  • Experience in SAP
  • Excellent communication style
  • Client focus
