The purpose of this role is to manage finance applications mainly Oracle, Banking & Treasury and HFM.
Ensure continuous and stable operation of affected environment according to SLAs.
The services of this organisation cover both on-going (Business as Usual) and one-time (project) scope and as such the organization operates in a pool concept with a mix of the company’s employees and temporary contractors. Managing both the service quality / service levels as well as the appropriate mix of internal / contract resources is the key challenge of this role.


  • Define strategy for ERP Services Finance Applications delivery
  • Drive improvements within the ERP Services Finance Applications delivery structure to achieve better customer satisfactions
  • Act as overall project manager for the ongoing implementation & change request projects executed by various project leads
  • Act as the senior contact for the user community and represents Shared Services in user community meetings
  • Identify potential areas where are professional gaps and major consultancy is currently or planned to be utilized
  • Review future project need and develop resource base accordingly
  • Define objectives for the department and its employees

People management
  • Coordinate and prioritize the operational support and enhancement activities within the finance applications area
  • Estimate / monitor development needs and arrange necessary development capacity
  • Setup & maintain organization structure for optimized work division and service delivery
  • Delegate work within organization to all sub levels
  • Monitor, control and ensure administration of working / absence time
  • Monitor, analyze and report spent work on projects and BAU (Business as Usual)
  • Organize team meetings and ensure right assignment of tasks
  • Create and adjust job descriptions within the organization
  • Ensure team skill set is up to date via appropriate trainings
  • Plan headcount according to potential work needs
  • Conduct people performance management processes
  • Organize cross trainings between sub departments
  • Ensure backups of key / critical service areas exits
  • Monitor employee spending during business travels
  • Ensure company policies are communicated within the organization


  • 5 years team lead or manager experience in a multinational / shared services environment
  • Finance graduation
  • Knowledge of business processes of a typical FSS environment (Payables, Purchasing, Inventory, AR & Credit, General Accounting, Assets, Projects)
  • Oracle ERP support and implementation experience
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with the user and developers community
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong people management skills (Manage Consultants / Contractors, Able to plan headcount and staffing according to needs, Hand-on mentality meaning willing and able to execute the activities as performed by the team members as well
  • Proven ability to build trust and to present himself/herself as reliable advisor/ Project Management professional
  • Utilise resources across Shared Services structures
