Service Desk Team Leader responsibilities:

  • leading, mentoring and coaching a middle-sized remote team
  • being responsible for the successful delivery of Service Desk Level 1 services
  • taking part in operational tasks
  • delivering inspirational leadership and effective coaching, meanwhile providing a supportive and rewarding working environment
  • analyzing trends and common issues, advise solutions globally
  • proposing and implementing new ideas and methods in order to improve service quality and efficiency
  • managing and creating a solid IT knowledge base
  • keeping contact with stakeholders


  • at least 5 years of experience in a service desk environment, including 2 years in a team leader role
  • expertise in troubleshooting MS Windows operating system and related applications
  • advanced English knowledge is essential
  • ability to work in a demanding environment with an international remote team
  • strong mentoring and leadership attitude
  • proactive, innovative self-motivator
  • not being afraid to make the right-decision, even if it is not the easy road
