On behalf of our partner in Budapest, we are looking for a Retail manager.
The Retail Manager will be responsible for the existing Retail revenue streams, ensuring the right mix of products & portfolio achieved based on profitability and customer needs.
The manager is also responsible for identification of future revenue streams.
Responsibilities:
- Manages existing Retail portfolio (mainly onboard sales) to enhance conversion, unit revenue and overall profit. Monitors and analyses monthly revenue performance and ensures targets met/exceeded on sku level and overall. Creates and recommend final on-board menu card. Regularly benchmarks portfolio and price to competition and customer demand.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure operational performance, brand leverage and customer demand and satisfaction.
- Manages pricing and promotions. Plans and trials commercial actions with focus on the bottom line by developing business and pricing strategies, promotions, advertising sales and marketing activities.
- Makes retail portfolio mid/long term recommendations of new retail revenue stream opportunities, defines business cases, and leads implementation with external partners and internally cross-functionally.
- Suggests changes or enhancements in the catering processes and procedures in order to ensure an effective product offering.
- Initiates regular reviews of operating processes to identify both commercial and operational enhancement opportunities.
- Manages and launches software and hardware selection, payment solutions with external providers.
- Manages budget and sets specific targets for Retail revenues. Administrates invoicing / payable / receivables.
- Manages external retail vendor and other suppliers: oversee supply chain, manufacturers and providers; manages tenders and partner selection; powers the business in the areas of technology, product sourcing, magazine publishing, advertising sales, inflight connectivity, catering and logistics; manages daily relationship with partner account managers; continuously identifies improvement areas.
