Job description

The company is the international shared service company and has its registered office in Munich. Our customers are companies across the globe to which our 7,500 employees across the international locations offer innovative, top-quality products and services in the fields of IT Services and Operations.

Main tasks:

  • Working on the design and architecture processes, especially on domain-oriented design and event sourcing
  • Development of microservices within an agile and cross-functional team
  • Execution of the release processes of self-developed and productively maintained features
  • Quality management through e.g. test driven Design, Unit-Tests, SonarQube, SW-Quality
  • Implementation of new techniques to deliver the software into production, e.g. Feature-Toggles, Shadow-Tests and Gradual Releasing
Requirements
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Solid knowledge and experience with JVM languages (Kotlin/Java), Java Spring Boot and microservice-oriented architectures
  • Ideally experience in the development of application systems and first experience with insurance applications
  • Ideally knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Cammunda, Hibernate and Docker-Compose; knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis is also an advantage
  • Passion for frontend development and service creation
  • Ideally experience in Test Driven Development and writing suitable tests (J-Unit, Integration, etc.)
  • Solution-oriented, open-minded, open to challenges and ability to communicate effectively
