Some advices before the interview |
Before the interviewRead the company’s web page thoroughly and be well-prepared for some typical questions like: What kind of perspective do you see in the company, why would you like to work there, what was so attractive for you in the position you applied for, etc. Moderately go step by step through your CV, think over your professional milestones and try to find specific examples to show how you reacted to difficult situations. ClothingFirst and foremost arrive elegantly at the interview; meaning costume for ladies and suit for gentlemen. Business look involves that in summertime ladies are suggested to wear nylons and at least knee-deep skirt. You can take off your blazer/coat if the interview room’s temperature is too hot, but your blouse cannot be semitransparent, low cut, spaghetti-strapped or sleeveless. SmokingIf possible, please do not smoke before the interview, because the smell of the cigarette can be repulsive to the interviewer. If you “have to” smoke we suggest washing your teeth after smoking, taking a menthol candy or using mouth-spray and some perfume too before entering the interview room. AccuracyDon’t arrive at the interview too early; 10 minutes can be acceptable, but not earlier. Always take care arriving on time and don’t be late. If you realize you won’t be there on time, please call the company and inform them that you will arrive a bit later. HandshakeHandshake is an important point: it has to be distinct, not letting to slip out the hand from the other’s hand and it is usually only a short squeeze-long. |
