Our client is a multinational company providing consultancy, professional and managed services across the globe is looking for qualified candidate for the position:
L3 Linux System Administrator
Tasks:- Providing high-level support for: Lnux based server and workstation infrastructure
- Leading projects on optimization of the infrastructure and operations
- Resolving all issues at HW and OS level on the company's Unix based server park
- Operating support tools
Technical Environment:
- Solaris OS (version 7, 8, 9, 10)
- Solaris volume manager
- Veritas File system and Volume Manager
- Veritas NetBackup
- Sun Entry level server hw knowledge (280R, 240, 440, 880)
- Sun Enterprise HW knowledge (10K, 15K, 25K)
- SUN Management Center
- SRS Net connect experience
- UNIX shell scripting, Perl scripting
- TCP/IP network
Requirements
- Strong LINUX knowledge (using RED HAT/SuSE and Oracle)
- Good knowledge of other Linux (SuSE/Debian, etc.)
- Experienced in HP ProLiant machines and VMware ESX and SAN
- Fluent English is a must
- Initative and proactive personality
